Blount CARE is pleased to offer a lost and found service to the Blount County community.
Blount County residents who have either lost an animal or found an animal are welcome to add the information to the lost and found list.
We will be advertising this section in the community so people know about it and will use it.
Lost or found entries will remain on the list for 30 days.
People are welcome to reapply if the animal has not been reunited in that time period.
If you have lost an animal, check the found entries for your animal.
If you have found an animal, check the lost entries for that animal.
Contact the Maryville Shelter (681-2241) about the animal and take a poster/flyer over there.
Also put up posters/flyers in the area where the animal was lost/found.
If the animal is a purebred, contact the purebred rescue to report the animal lost or found. A listing of purebred rescues can be accessed from our site under the "Rescue Groups" button.

Please spread the word about this service to others.
Blount CARE hopes to indirectly rescue animals by reuniting them with their owners before they die in the wilderness or in the shelter.
